Some people seem to have trouble creating databases in the /siteadmin section. Hopefully this will help.
First of all you need to go to http://yoursite.ext/siteadmin this will redirect you to a secure server address and you should see a screen similar to below.
Enter your username and password and click "Login" you should then see:
Click on your domain name - screen should then show:
Now we are in the main section - click on databases.
In the database name box you need to enter a name for your database. This name needs to be unique for the whole server. Chances are that database names such as - forum , phpbb, phpbb2, nuke are already taken so use something that is unique to yourself. After doing this click Add - and you should be taken to the following screen.
Type a USERNAME in the New User box and click Add
Enter a Password and confirm the password and click Update. If you are then presented with a screen like below then all went well.
Then in your scripts server or hostname = localhost and the database settings are what you set above. _________________ Ian
