Strange mouseover style in forum headings

If you roll your mouse over the title of this thread, the text style changes from something that looks like this to something that looks more like this. The change in font size causes the rest of the page to hop up and down quite a bit. Was this intentional? All the forum titles and thread headings seem to be affected.

i noticed this you can get a whole screen flicker thing going on, ur screen is not knackered!

All you need to do is remove all the "font-size" statements from CSS rules ending with ":hover". Shouldn't take more than 2 minutes.

All that needs doing is removing lines 37 and 38 from the output of: http://www.34sp.com/css/main.php

Incidentally, the font changes from Trebuchet MS to Arial as well as the size change, which is why 2 lines need removing, please! Lol.

although the 'shaking' effect was fixed for some reason the forum index (ie forum front page) topic titles upon scroll over, the text size gets smaller and it's underlined, whereas in any sub forum the text remains the same size and is underlined. is this inconsistency deliberate?
