I thought the use of an iFrame would be a great idea that would enable me to update my website menu really easily.

What I tried to do is insert my menu, worked well I thought, but then I noticed one flaw. If a user selects a drop down part of the menu, the drop down disappears within the iframe.

Could this be overcome? Ie can the menu 'pop up', this meaning I can use the iframe seemlessly with the site and the 'pop out' will look part of the actual page, not a seperate page.

Hope this makes sense! Thanks in advance

Hi Shane - have you thought about removing the menu from the iframe. You could still keep all other content within an iframe/s but open it from the menu. This would still facilitate easy updating of menu etc. If your flyouts on your menu end up "hidden" behind any other element, including an iframe, do some research on z indexes - this will enable you to "layer" elements on the web page and bring your meu to the top.

Hope this helps
Bruce
