I'd like to replace my Apple .mac account with 34SP services but one thing missing is the equivalent of iDisk - a mountable file system accessible through a web interface as well as WebDAV. Does 34SP have any such thing in mind?

Using MacFUSE I can mount my domain through FTP and it appears in the Mac Finder like a mounted disk. Gnome and Nautilus can do something similar. However, using my domain space as a personal network disk doesn't feel right

Your personal web space is accessible using a web based interface in Plesk!

No plans to offer such a service at the moment I'm afraid, but I'll make sure to bring it up as something to be looked into.

How much does .mac cost for this service and how much storage do you get?

It costs 69.99 a year for the full package, see: http://www.mac.com/1/currencytable.html and http://www.mac.com/1/mac_faq.html for a full feature list. You get 1GB with the basic package.

My main requirements are mail and iDisk. I don't have more than one Mac so I don't need the synchronisation and I have my own methods for backup.

Perhaps it could be an add-on, eg match the 10 mailboxes in your basic package with 10 network disks. The admin could slice up, quota and/or share the available space between them. Mounts offered would be WebDAV, http and ftp accessible. If you wanted to be adventurous you could share them with NFSv4 too

Thanks for the quick response.

It might not be quite what you are looking for but for really cheap online storage with the ability to share folders, take a look at the Amazon S3 service.

Here is some info on a Windows interface to it and I think they have a Mac version in Beta at the moment. http://www.maluke.com/s3man/faq.php
