Hi Guys, first time posting. Long time lurking.

My live site won't scroll in IE8. I am using the CSS and HTML from StickyFooter.com and have messed with it for hours and hours and hours and cannot get it working.

I was wondering if you would be so helpful as to have a quick look and (most probably instantly) tell me the error of my ways.

I am using CMS Made Simple as the CMS but I'm pretty sure that isn't to blame. I've poured over the HTML and CSS for hours and hours now and can't find the reason at all. Infact i've stared at it for so long none of it is making any sense any more.

Please help!

I think your problem is here:
Code:
<!--[if !IE 7]>
   <style type="text/css">
      #wrap {display:table;height:100%}
   </style>
<![endif]-->

This looks like a badly coded fix for IE6. Try changing it to the following:
Code:
<!--[if lt IE 7]>
   <style type="text/css">
      #wrap {display:table;height:100%}
   </style>
<![endif]-->

Thank you,

on the actual site (http://www.cssstickyfooter.com/using-sticky-footer-code.html) it says that !IE7 includes all IE's but IE7, but it just doesn't seem to be working.

It's IE8 and 6 I seem to be having a problem. Haven't got access to them right now, but have stuck
<!--[if lte IE 8]>

in there to include 8 and lower. will check it out when I get home. Thanks again.

Did that fix it? I checked the page at browsershots.org and there seems to be a scrollbar in IE8. (Although I can't actually see how the change you made would have had any effect on this browser, to be honest).
