Hi

Is it possible to install alternate/additional Webmail software or can we only use the pre-installed @Mail application?

I personally dislike @Mail and would prefer to be able to install something else rather than forward my mail to an external mail provider.

Thanks!
Rich

I've successfully used Roundcube and Squirrelmail on my domain, with varying levels of success. If I remember correctly, Roundcube worked pretty much "straight out of the box", but Squirrelmail was a bit more fiddly, and ran into permissions issues with some elements of it.

Thanks for the info.

Roundcube looks like the kind of layout I like in a web based Email app.
I may have a go at installing it when I have some more time.

Cheers

I'm currently doing the email beta test thing, and it appears that they're using Roundcube as the base for the new webmail system. Obviously, this might change, but it might save you the trouble of installing it if that's what they're going to adopt!
